 The Maker Sunshine Festival 2006 was the starting point of the Maker Green Team - an all volunteer not for profit community events recycling organisation.

Since 2006 the Maker Green Team have undertaken 19 green field events ranging in population from 800 to 12000 attendees.

The Maker Green Team holds a strong relationship with the 2000 Trees Festival in Gloucestershire. Since its inception both organisations have grown together to facilitate one of Britain’s most ethically green festivals.

In 2009 the Maker Green Team past another mile stone and reached the 90% recycling rate of all recyclables collected. We think this is a UK first for an outside music event!

The Maker Green Team is organised by Principle One's Daryn Manchip
